Last night I went to the Downtown LA Art Walk and we saw lots of different types of art. Artists Noah, Dez and DSTROYR brought another side of The Muppets to Downtown Disney in Anaheim for onlookers to see. Putting on a show of live art demos and signing Muppet merchandise, the Disney Downtown District’s D Street store was full of people waiting in line to get their items signed and share their appreciative words with the artists. T-shirts are one of the biggest way for self expression. With an explosion of different companies big and small taking the t-shirt graphics to a new level, its amazing what comes out on a plain white shirt these days.  Held at the Pasadena Convention Center Saturday November 5th, Designer Con was a great turn out with lots of different vendors and everyone looking for that special find. I took some pictures throughout the show. My boyfriend and I came back with a few things too!  

Los Angeles should be glad to have artists like these that make our plain streets into beautiful pieces of art. El Mac and Retna are LA artists with their own styles and in this video they talk about their experiences on how they bring together the city with their murals. I’ve seen a few of these myself driving around LA and they’re no joke.
