A peek at the interior of The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. We stayed there on our last trip and the place is amazing. Loved every inch of that place. Heard some people say its too much to look at but really…is anything too much to look at in Las Vegas? I don’t think so.
There isn’t much of reason why I’m posting this today other than the reason that I love Porter Robinson’s songs and he put a Youtube video up from his time at the Electric Daisy Carnival this year in Las Vegas. So enjoy this video and listen to some of his songs if you love this genre of music. If you’re not a fan…sorry, maybe next time. http://www.porterrobinsonofficial.com/
A wonderful thing happens in downtown San Diego every year and one of those things is Comic Con. This year Comic Con started July 21st to 24st and from all the different footage I’ve seen all over the web this moment stood out to me. A zombie walk was held through the Gaslamp District and all sorts of zombies were there making their appearance from Storm Troopers to Allen from [...]
In 2012 a new Spider Man will grace the movie screens and we’ll all hear how bad this version is too. Haha! I wasn’t too crazy about the 3 Toby movies, especially the 3rd one but this version looks like it has some potential without getting too cheesy. Starring Andrew Garfield, Irrfan Khan, Denis Leary and Emma Stone so with a cast like that I’m hoping this could be the movie [...]
Los Angeles has different sides of car cultures and lowriders is one of them. They’ve been apart of LA for a long time and are a staple when anyone thinks LA. Check out this custom paint shop that doesn’t even need a website and word of mouth is all he needs. Look at some of Danny D’s beautiful work on some classic cars and listen to his story of how [...]
If you’re in the Los Angeles area from now to August 6th go check out the “ALWAYS” exhibition on Fairfax at the Known Gallery. The exhibit opened July 16th with rad work from NORM and special guests STEEL, TREVELEN and LANI LEE. I’m making my way down there soon and I can’t wait to see all the amazing work. http://www.knowngallery.com/ http://willrisestudio.tumblr.com/
Went to the Tim Burton exhibit at LACMA yesterday and it was so rad! It was more then I expected and with more then 5 rooms (one of my favorites was the black light room) filled with Burton’s sketches, sculptures, photographs, costumes/props, short films and letters. It was awesome to see how his mind was as a teenager to his latest work as a director! The exhibit shows his achievements in [...]
I thought the first commercial from VW was clever and now they have 2 new commercials with Greenpeace. The Rebellion is calling everybody to get VW to turn away from the dark side by taking care of our planet before its too late. Staying with the Star Wars theme of the first commercial, its excellent advertising for the obvious reason that Star Wars is a pop culture icon that no one [...]
I love seeing skate decks with rad detail and color and these 3 decks from Element caught my attention. This is the Totem Series that came out in stores recently!
Image from http://tlc.discovery.com/ Been watching a new show on TLC and it has a familiar face, Ami James who is from Miami Ink! Now he’s taking his craft to New York’s Soho district with a rad crew to open up his new shop Wooster Street Social Club. The episodes are good so far and all the artists are different in their own way and that’s not a surprise. I loved Miami [...]
